Robyn Klesath Robertson has an impressive background in strategic marketing & public relations, with particular emphasis on the not-for-profit sector. She was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Kids in a Drug-Free Society (K.I.D.S.), a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping parents better communicate with their kids about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Robyn help start this organization in August 1999, and was the driving force behind its successful entry into five major markets (Atlanta, Dallas, Cleveland, Indianapolis and Portland, OR) and 80 major corporation including American Airlines, AT&T, Eli Lilly & Company, Texas Instruments and MBNA to name a few.

Before teaming with K.I.D.S., Robyn was the Director of International Public Relations for The Flying Hospital, Inc. In her role with this unique humanitarian organization, Robyn worked on several high profile projects including Operation Smile's World Journey of Hope '99, an international medical mission that spanned 18 countries during a nine-week period. This first-of-its-kind medical mission treated 5,000 patients and touched thousands of individuals around the globe. She also worked on documentary projects with Dutch Television and the BBC, in addition to news and feature story placement with every major news outlet in the world.

Prior to her tenure with The Flying Hospital, Inc., Robyn managed her own public relations consulting firm, BrainStorm. She has also held positions with Brickell & Partners, Norfolk Botanical Gardens and American Red Cross Blood Services.

The recipient of several regional, national and international awards -- including the coveted Mobius Award – Robyn also has the distinction of being one of Virginia's few public relations practitioners who is also a Virginia Supreme Court certified mediator.
